A truly strange event was caught on dashcam in China. It hardly makes any sense, but it could be a Chinese version of Russian insurance scam – not sure.
Driver of car equipped with dashcam follows behind a slow moving white Mazda sedan. He reaches a person pushing a cart and pauses to ask something – perhaps for directions? After that he continues on his way but the white sedan in front of him slows down even more, so the driver decides to pass it. At the point, the Mazda driver intentionally swerves into the passing lane, hitting his car.
Young Chinese fellow wearing a face mask gets off white Mazda and appears to inspect the impact area for scratches. The dashcam car driver also gets off and goes to talk with the passengers in Mazda. At that point, another young punk with a facemask gets off the rear seat, passes the other fellow a baseball bat and without warning, both start to hit the middle aged driver. Surprised by the unexpected assault, the driver takes off, losing his flip flops in the process.
Does whatever happened here make sense to anyone? Pretty messed up either way.
