A Haitian woman was assaulted by members of a Haitian community from Pantoja in the municipality of Los Alcarrizos, Santo Domingo province, Dominican Republic. The assailants alleged that the woman posed danger to the neighborhood and probably intended to kill her.
The woman was beaten and tied to a tree, but the rope job was pathetic and couldn’t hold her. She was later rescued by police who were called in, and taken to a psychiatric hospital.
