3 Year Old Girl Beaten Black and Blue by Father in Huancayo, Peru

Although I don’t understand Spanish, I think the little I could gather should be reasonably accurate:

Authorities in Huancayo, Peru learned of possible child abuse and recovered a 3 year old girl whose bottom half was all black and blue from beatings. Girl’s father was arrested in relation to the alleged abuse and I believe he’s the guy shown sitting inside the police car.

I could never understand people who take their anger out on the defenseless. It’s like beating a cat or a puppy on a leash. At 3 years of age, the child has no physical strength to resist abuse. How could a grown up deliver a hit to someone so innocent and precious is incomprehensible to me. The world sickens me. Hopefully the girl is still too young to have her cognitive functions fully develop and won’t remember any of it.
