I guess this video explains why Mexicans like to randomly attack lone policemen.
This video from Mexico shows a group of policemen torturing a man tied to a utility pole by blasting him with water cannon and laughing at his ordeal. While one can appreciate that Mexico is hard core with all the drug cartels and growing vigilante action of late, none of this is acceptable. Vigilantes waterboarding cops they found to be corrupt and can’t get justice through legal means – I could understand that and could find it justifiable. But cops are paid by taxpayers, including possible vigilantes, which makes them a whole different breed. Cops should act no differently than as personal bodyguards of each civilian as they were hired by each civilian for that specific purpose.
I know… since they don’t actually exist, at least I can daydream of non corrupt cops.
