On the 5th of October 2013, former prison inmate and farmer Vanildo Francisco Lira Leite, known as “Nildinho”, was stoned to death in São Caetano, state of Pernambuco – Brazil.
According to his wife, Francisco received a phone call at around 09:30 am, went out to meet an individual, and didn’t come back home.
She also said he had previously served time in jail for illegal gun and Cannabis possession.
He left a 4 year old son behind.
According to police, the murderer/s took the victim’s cell phone, which could have contained incriminating evidence. It is suspected that this crime is drug related.
I’m starting to think stoning is becoming a more common practice in Brazil than in many Muslim nations. Stones are easily available and are cost-free. The Da Silva’s have to find more economical ways to carry out their intrinsic savagery.
