26 year old man brandishing a knife allegedly approached the house where his ex-wife and ex mother-in-law lived, smashed the door to force his way in allegedly with an intent to kill the women. Neighbors noticed and intervened by disarming the man. As the lust grew to have the alleged assailant lynched, he took off and ran toward Pinto Martins International Airport where he was overwhelmed by the crowd.
Pastor Edson Lopes drove by and noticed lynching in progress and used his influence to save the man from certain death. The incident happened in Fortaleza, the state of Ceará, Brazil.
