A cop from Oshawa, Durham region in Ontario province, Canada was filmed on hidden camera threatening to beat up a civilian, and plant cocaine on him so he could frame him and throw him in jail. And while the chief bully intimidated harmless pot smokers, his cop partners nonchalantly stood by. Bullying civilians and waging war on everyone who isn’t a cop is normal part of everyday routine for them.
As it goes in police state Canada, despite clear evidence that the officer was threatening to destroy the guy, he remains a “front line” officer and all he got for punishment was “forfeiture of pay for 24 hours“.
Durham Police spokesman Dave Selby said the officer’s conduct was investigated by the force’s professional standards branch. He said Police Chief Mike Ewles has the right to resolve the issue informally without a hearing if he or she believes the conduct was not of “a serious nature.”
Dave Selby refused to identify the officer, but through the power of t3h interweb, we learned that he is one James (Jamie) Ebdon.
This is how it goes in Canada – anyone who isn’t a cop is just a criminal who hasn’t been caught yet. In other words, everyone in Canada is guilty, it’s just a matter of finding a crime to fit the bill.
This becomes particularly true the moment you irritate cops, such as by exposing their incompetence, or their brutality. The worst thing is that it’s become second nature for Canadian cops to believe that there’s nothing wrong with using their entrusted status for personal vengeance.
The scale at which this is happening in Canada is terrifying. If you take into account the population of Canada, the country must be one of the worst in the world.
Only two days ago it was reported that a woman, named Tonie Farrell, was beat up by a cop who kicked her so hard, she suffered permanent knee damage, and afterward, charged her with assaulting and obstructing a police officer.
This is a typical code of conduct for a Canadian cop – beat up a citizen, then charge them with assaulting you cause by doing that, the victim will be perceived as a criminal and will have to embark on a long and difficult uphill battle to defend themselves. The conduct of the officer will be investigated by the police’s own team, comprised of the officer’s buddies who will, as they always do, conclude that the officer’s actions were lawful. This was precisely the case with the cop beating up Ms. Tonie Farrell – Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit took no disciplinary action against Sgt. Russell Watson who remains on the job in Orillia.
