Everything that’s wrong with the life in a police state is summed up in this video – from a cop too used to beating civilians and getting away with it, through police superior being diplomatic because a video of the abuse was leaked, but still being unwilling to hide that he supports police brutality and will go out of his way working with his bully subordinates to justify it, all the way to the pro violence and pro establishment mainstream media that will report on the incident if they get an exclusive video, but will still dedicate enough airtime justifying police brutality.
It all started with a man, identified as John Madison Reyes, daring to ask Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputy to move his car from an intersection. In a police state, you just don’t tell cops what to do. They are not there for you. Laws don’t apply to them and they are used to getting away with anything, because prior to the advent of cell phone cameras, there never was sufficient evidence to prove them wrong.
The daring man was tased, and beaten with a flashlight while the deputy stomped his head into the street. He was then jailed for resisting arrest.
Notice how the mainstream media tells you that John Madison Reyes was “resisting arrest“, but never touches what the probable cause was for the arrest. No mention of any actual underlying charge that would justify the arrest for him to resist. Cause you know – why you’re being arrested is not important. Except perhaps the officer having a reason to believe that you would resist arrest if he initiated the arrest, so he preemptively arrested you so you can’t do that. In other words, you are charged with conspiracy to initiate intent to resist arrest.
Sacramento County Undersheriff Jaime Lewis then tells the media that had John Madison Reyes simply allowed himself to be arrested, he would not have been beaten. The Undersheriff too fails to explain why John Madison Reyes was being arrested in the first place. He simply expects that if a cop decides to arrest someone, they need to comply or else they get beat up and he’ll consider the beating justified. That, I assume, would especially be the case if you had the nerve to request the cops to cease blocking traffic. The audacity!
By stating that “if the citizen had complied at the beginning then we wouldn’t be sitting here talking right now“, Undersheriff Jaime Lewis essentially said that it’s okay to keep beating a civilians even after he’s been subdued. The head boot stomp, followed by wrenching the arm back and hitting it with a flashlight, after the guy had 100,000 Volts run through is body, is all kosher by this guy.
Because the video of the beating was recorded, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office had no choice but to begin the usual coverup, and placed the deputy on paid administrative leave. They refused to release his name.
Paid administrative leave – basically a paid vacation for beating and stomping on someone, cause the video has not gone viral. Had it been the case, they would go with plan B – termination, until such time as the case falls out of public knowledge at which time the deputy is reinstated with backpay and benefits. Ta da – welcome to the police state.
Always remember – if you see something, film something!
