This video alleges to show an Alawi farmer from Latakia, Syria receiving a dose of freedom from “freedom fighters”. He must have been so glad the west trains, arms and finances these “freedom fighters” cause he wouldn’t have known what freedom tastes like otherwise.
The video shows a middle-aged man with a plaster of animal skin on the side of his face, presumably covering wounds sustained during torture. He is filmed making a statement, something he was likely forced to say by the treatment that earned him the plaster.
After the statement, he’s shown getting his eye stabbed and plucked with a long blade. His disfigured face is then shown again as his broken voice calls out.
