According to Mexican social media website, this was the case of police brutality.
During the fair of San Marcos in the state of Aguascalientes in Mexico, the police manhandled a woman for allegedly “acting scandalous in public“. That sounds about as absurd as charging a blogger with “Corrupting Morals“, although when it comes to Canada, nobody comes anywhere near its judicial absurdity.
The video that captured the altercation appears to show the woman lunge at the cops at least twice, even throw a punch on one occasion. She however appears to act that way in response to being roughed up. It’s hard to tell from the video who was at fault, but why can’t cops leave people alone when they are having harmless fun? Her acting skanky does not cause any harm to anyone. Maybe she had a few drinks and enjoyed herself, and maybe she was a hooker looking for a client, but unless she attacked or robbed someone, the cops should stay the fuck out of it.
Alfonso Palomeque Fuentes, the chief of the State police justified the actions of his subordinates by saying that they acted upon information that was incomplete at the time.
